Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI has arranged “The Organic Fertilizer Bank…the Sustainable Step to Progress” project for the second year. This is one of agricultural projects supported by SSI. For this year, Mr. Thawatchai Wisamon, District-Chief Officer of Bangsaphan was presided over the opening ceremony and Mr. Thavorn Kananub Assistant, Vice President of SSI, reported about the project background and contributed budgets at the amount of Baht 120,000 for each Tambon (Tambon Kamnerd Noppakhun and Tambon Maerumphueng) This project emphasized and encouraged the farmers in Bang Saphan to produce and use organic fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizer for their agricultures which can reduce production costs and at the same time can increase income. The ceremony was held at Kamnerd Noppakhun Branch, Moo 1, Tambon Kamnerd Noppakhun , Amphur Bang Saphan, Prachuab Khirikhan

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ จัดโครงการ “ธนาคารปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ ก้าวย่างอย่างยั่งยืน ปีที่2” หนึ่งในโครงการสนับสนุนภาคเกษตรกรรมของบริษัทฯ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายธวัชชัย วิสมล นายอำเภอบางสะพาน มาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดตัวโครงการ โดยมี นายถาวร คณานับ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป กล่าวรายงานถึงความเป็นมาของโครงการ และมอบเงินสนับสนุนให้กับประธานกลุ่มผลิตปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ตำบลกำเนิดนพคุณ และตำบลแม่รำพึง กลุ่มละ 120,000 บาท รวมเป็นเงินทั้งสิ้น 240,000 บาท โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกษตรกรในอำเภอบางสะพานผลิตปุ๋ยอินทรีย์เพื่อใช้และจำหน่ายกันเองในกลุ่มสมาชิก เป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนการผลิต ทำให้รายได้เพิ่มขึ้น โดยจัดพิธีเปิดตัวโครงการ ณ กองปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ตำบลกำเนิดนพคุณ หมู่ 1 ต.กำเนิดนพคุณ อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
