Recently, Mr. Thongchai Phetsakhunthong, Mayor of Bankrud Sub-district Municipality, and Mr. Narongpong Phothisombat, an advisor of Sahaviriya Group, were representatives to present Baht 20,000 from the “Swim-Bike-Run for disadvantaged” project to support the youth music club of Bankood Sub-district Municipality. This endowment was donated by the employees of Sahaviriya Group and the participants of “Bangsaphan Triathlon Thailand Championship & International Championship 2011” in order to get more musical instruments for the club set up to encourage the local youth to spend their free time sensibly and to stay away from drugs as well as to foster strength within the community.

นายธงชัย เพชรสกุลทอง นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลบ้านกรูด นายณรงค์พงศ์ โพธิสมบัติ ที่ปรึกษาเครือสหวิริยา  เป็นตัวแทนมอบเงินจากโครงการ “ว่าย ปั่น วิ่ง แบ่งปันผู้ด้อยโอกาส ” จำนวน 20,000 บาท สนับสนุนชมรมดนตรีเทศบาลตำบลบ้านกรูด ซึ่งเป็นการร่วมบริจาคของพนักงานบริษัทในเครือสหวิริยาและผู้ร่วมการแข่งขัน “ฅนเหล็กบางสะพาน ไตรกีฬานานาชาติ 2554 ”  เพื่อใช้ในการซื้ออุปกรณ์ดนตรี ส่งเสริมให้เยาวชนใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ ป้องกันให้ห่างไกลจากยาเสพติด และสร้างความแข็งแกร่งให้กับชุมชน เมื่อเร็วๆนี้
