Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI in collaboration with the Educational District Office of Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1 conducted the “Youth Conservation Camp” Project for the 4th year. This project which was arranged for the youth from 43 schools in the areas of Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khirikhan was the camping activities for 3 days 2 nights at Ban Thakham School. The objectives were to teach the youth about conservation of local natural resources and environment through theory and practice and sessions. The lecturers who provided such knowledge were from the Educational District Office of Prachuap Khirikhan, the officers from Border Patrol Police Company 147 and the environmental experts from SSI.

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1 จัดโครงการ “ค่ายนักอนุรักษ์รุ่นเยาว์” ปี 4 ให้กับเยาวชน จาก 43 โรงเรียน ในพื้นที่อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ในรูปแบบของการเข้าค่ายพักแรม 3 วัน 2 คืน ณ โรงเรียนบ้านท่าขาม โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เยาวชน ได้เรียนรู้เรื่องการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมธรรมชาติในท้องถิ่น ผ่านภาควิชาการและภาคปฏิบัติ โดยมีคณะวิทยากรจากสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ฯ เจ้าหน้าที่กองร้อยตำรวจตระเวนชายแดนที่ 147 และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อมจากเอสเอสไอ เป็นผู้ถ่ายทอดความรู้
