SSI Group, comprising Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC (SSI), Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet PLC (TCRSS), Thai Coated Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. (TCS), Prachuap Port Co., Ltd. (PPC) and West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd. (WCE), joined hands with local government organizations in Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan, comprising Mae Rumphueng, Kamnerd Noppakun Subdistrict Administrations and Kamnerd Noppakun Sub-District Municipal Office, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan, to celebrate Children’s Day 2014, 11 January 2014. There were many activities for the youths such as recreation activity bases, performances, free food and drink, souvenir and presents. Moreover, PPC opened its deep sea port and allowed young people to explore the site and PPC Shore Crane which is used for transferring raw material and products. Many youths were interested in and joined the activities which have broadened their horizons.

ร่วมจัดงานวันเด็ก 2557 บางสะพาน
           กลุ่มบริษัทเอสเอสไอ ประกอบด้วย บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) (SSI) บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (TCRSS) บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นเคลือบไทย จำกัด (TCS) บริษัท ท่าเรือประจวบ จำกัด (PPC) และบริษัท เวสท์โคสท์ เอ็นจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด (WCE) ร่วมมือกับองค์กรส่วนท้องถิ่นในอำเภอบางสะพานจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ได้แก่ อบต.แม่รำพึง อบต.กำเนิดนพคุณ และเทศบาลกำเนิดนพคุณ อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จัดงานเนื่องในโอกาสวันเด็กแห่งชาติประจำปี 2557 เมื่อวันที่ 11 มกราคม ที่ผ่านมา โดยจัดซุ้มกิจกรรมนันทนาการ จัดเวทีการแสดงต่างๆสำหรับเยาวชน ซุ้มอาหาร และสนับสนุนของที่ระลึกและของรางวัล พร้อมกันนี้ยังเปิดให้ชมกิจการท่าเรือน้ำลึกประจวบและเครนหน้าท่าที่ใช้สำหรับขนส่งวัตถุดิบและผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ทันสมัย เพื่อเปิดโลกการเรียนรู้ให้กับเยาวชน โดยมีเยาวชนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นจำนวนมาก
