Sahaviriya Industries Public Company Limited or SSI arranged the 9th and 10th SSI Happiness Caravan at Multipurpose Hall, Moo 10 (Baan Tung Noon) Tambon Phong Prasart and at Multipurpose Hall, Moo 4 (Baan Nong Rawang) Tambon Thongchai, Amphoe Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khirikhan respectively. There were more than 300 people from both areas participated in many services rendering, such as physical and dental examination, barber service, engine oil change, electric appliances repair services and entertainment activities. This project is one of social outreach programs which SSI continually supports with aims to create better quality of life of Bangsaphan people as well as to make them healthy both physically and mentally and to reduce cost needed in daily life. Another important goal is to build good relationship between employees and communities including the company and the government agencies in Bangsaphan area.
Mr. Somporn Patchimphet, District-Chief Officer of Bangsaphan said that SSI is one of the companies performing business in this area. It has to be accepted that SSI is a potential organization and has advantage edge in using resources in Bangsaphan areas. Therefore when there is a high potential entity that can exploit more benefits of our area, such entity is required to return help to these needed-societies. I thought that today Sahaviriya comes to the right direction because beside from making SSI a stable business, SSI does not forget to helps societies like the way it does presently. I would like to thank SSI for arranging such good project for the people here. I think that the company and the local communities can live together harmoniously and peacefully if we are sincere towards each other and can help each other.”

คาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอ พงศ์ประศาสน์-ธงชัย

บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จัดกิจกรรม คาราวานความสุขเอสเอสไอครั้งที่ 9 และ 10 ณ ณ ศาลาประชาร่วมใจ หมู่10 บ้านทุ่งนุ่น ต.พงศ์ประศาสน์ และ ศาลาเอนกประสงค์ หมู่ 4 บ้านหนองระแวง ต.ธงชัย อำเภอบางสะพาน ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมีประชาชนกว่า 300 คน จากทั้งสองพื้นที่เข้าร่วมรับบริการในรูปแบบต่างๆ คือ การตรวจสุขภาพร่างกาย และช่องปาก บริการตัดผม บริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่องรถจักรยานยนต์ ตรวจซ่อมเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และกิจกรรมสันทนาการต่างๆ
กิจกรรมคาราวานความสุขเอสเอสไอทั้งสองแห่งได้รับเกียรติจาก นายประกอบ คงทัพ กำนันตำบลพงศ์ประศาสน์ และ นายสมพร ปัจฉิมเพ็ชร นายอำเภอบางสะพานเป็นประธานเปิดงาน กิจกรรมดังกล่าว เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมของเอสเอสไอโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างให้ประชาชนในชุมชนมีความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น มีสุขภาพกายสุขภาพใจที่ดี ช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายที่จำเป็นในชีวิตประจำวัน รวมไปถึงเป็นการสร้างสัมพันธภาพที่ดีระหว่างพนักงานบริษัทฯกับคนในชุมชน ตลอดจนเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนต่างๆภายในอำเภอบางสะพานให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น
นายสมพร ปัจฉิมเพ็ชร นายอำเภอบางสะพาน กล่าวว่า บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี เป็นบริษัทหนึ่งที่มาอยู่ในพื้นที่อำเภอบางสะพานของเรา ต้องยอมรับว่า สหวิริยาเป็นองค์กรที่มีศักยภาพและมีความได้เปรียบในการใช้ทรัพยากรในพื้นที่ของอำเภอบางสะพาน เพราะฉะนั้นการมีบุคคลหนึ่งที่มีศักยภาพสูงสามารถใช้ประโยชน์ในพื้นที่เราได้มาก ก็จำเป็นที่จะต้องแบ่งปันช่วยเหลือสังคมที่ยังจำเป็นต้องได้รับความช่วยเหลือ วันนี้ผมคิดว่าสหวิริยาได้เดินทางมาถูกแนวทางที่นอกจากการทำธุรกิจที่มั่นคงแล้วท่านก็ไม่ลืมสังคมเหมือนกับที่ท่านทำอยู่ในปัจจุบัน ขอขอบคุณทางสหวิริยาครับที่ได้จัดโครงการดีๆแบบนี้มาให้กับพี่น้องประชาชน ผมคิดว่าบริษัทกับชุมชนสามารถอยู่ร่วมกันได้อย่างปกติสุข ถ้าเรามีความจริงใจซึ่งกันและกัน ถ้าเรามีความช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกัน”
