In order to show the company’s intention in corporate social and community responsibility, SSI In cooperation with Bangsaphan Sub District Administration Organization, Thongmongkol Health Station, Bangsaphan Hospital and Bangsaphan Technology College of Iron and Steel Management, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. arranged the third “SSI Happiness Caravan” for local people in Tambol Thongmongkol. Various activities such as physical examination (physical, diabetes, blood pressure examination, and dentistry), motorcycle repair services ,engine oil change, electric appliances repair services and entertainment activities had been provided to more than 300 people there. They also received free mask protecting 2009 Flu.The project was presided over by Mr.Suchart Poonnak, Bangsaphan Sub District-Deputy Administration Organization, on 25 July 2009 at Multipurpose Hall, Moo 6 Tambol Thongmongkol , Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khirikhan.
คาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอ เคลื่อนขบวนถึงทองมงคลแล้ว
บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยความร่วมมือกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลทองมงคล สถานีอนามัยตำบลทองมงคล โรงพยาบาลบางสะพาน วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีการจัดการเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าบางสะพาน จัดโครงการคาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอ เพื่อลงพื้นที่ให้บริการประชาชนในตำบลทองมงคล โดยมีกิจกรรมต่างๆ อาทิ การตรวจคัดกรองเบาหวาน ตรวจวัดความดันโลหิต ตรวจสุขภาพขั้นพื้นฐาน แจกหน้ากากอนามัย ให้กับประชาชนในพื้นที่เพื่อป้องกันไข้หวัด 2009 บริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่อง ตรวจซ่อมเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และต่อด้วยกิจกรรมเพื่อความบันเทิง เพื่อเป็นการแสดงออกถึงการมีส่วนร่วมรับผิดชอบต่อชุมชนในท้องถิ่นอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม เมื่อวันที่ 25 กรกฏาคม 2552 ณ ศาลาอเนกประสงค์ หมู่ 6 ตำบลทองมงคล อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมีประชาชนในตำบลทองมงคลสนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกว่า 300 คน
