SSI received the “Excellent” in the assessment of the 2009 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Corporate Governance Report. The Company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was appraised by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) which is associated with the Thai Investors Association (TIA) and the Thai Listed Companies Association, with an outstanding accomplishment. Additionally, the Company’s corporate governance report survey of 2009 was rated by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) in cooperation with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), with an excellent accomplishment.

SSI คว้าสองรางวัลสุดยอด “คุณภาพประชุมผู้ถือหุ้น-กำกับดูแลกิจการ”

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน)หรือ เอสเอสไอ คว้าสองรางวัลสำคัญในปี 2552 ในฐานะบริษัทจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย โดยรางวัลแรก บริษัทได้รับผลการประเมินตามโครงการคุณภาพการประชุมผู้ถือหุ้นสามัญประจำปี 2552 (Annual General Meeting: AGM) ในระดับดีเยี่ยม ซึ่งจัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ ร่วมกับสมาคมส่งเสริมผู้ลงทุนไทย และสมาคมบริษัทจดทะเบียนไทย และ สำหรับรางวัลที่สอง บริษัท ได้รับผลสำรวจการกำกับดูแลกิจการบริษัทจดทะเบียน ประจำปี 2552 อยู่ในกลุ่มบริษัทที่มีคะแนนในระดับดีเลิศ ตามโครงการ Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2009 ซึ่งจัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ ร่วมกับตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย และสมาคมส่งเสริมสถาบันกรรมการบริษัทไทย
